Camp Phoenix is a week long camp for burn survivor children, where they can get to know other children who understand what they have been through and can share experiences. The camp provides a positive avenue for children to form lasting friendships while at the same time allowing them to adapt and take control of their own future, learning the skills needed to interact in the world around them from within the safety, security and support of the camp and its counselors. 

The camp has been running for 17 years and has a perfect safety record. We strive to build a combination of the safest, most enjoyable, and most educational camp in America for burn survivors.  Where the children that attend camp can leave with new hope and the tools they need for a new start in life.

The camp programs include everything from swimming to land sports of all kinds. We have guest, like the Seattle Seahawks Cheer Squad, who come and work with and have fun with the children. We have Fire Departments from all over come in and help with physical challenges and games. And the food is great! We teach everything from arts to kayaking and the children can be seen coming out of their pain more and more every day. The children feel comfortable expressing whatever may trouble them about their injuries and how others react to them. Sharing between the children and the counselors creates a bond that gives them strength and courage that lasts long after camp is over. They learn that every new day holds new hope and with every smile comes un-measurable amounts of healing.

All expenses are paid by the BCRF (Burned Children Recovery Foundation), from bringing the children to camp, to getting them safely back home. We provide all meals and expenses for the children and the counselors as well.
